Hey, need some help pls. I’ve been trying to get the oasis habitat for awhile now, but have failed to. I followed the guidelines that were mentioned here.
I have a center tile with woodlands and 6 or more dessert tiles surrounding it, I’ve attached a picture. Not sure if I’ve correctly done it, or misunderstood the instructions, cause i’ve used the conch to bring the botanist, but Oasis wasn’t a habitat option for me.
Am i suppose to wait for the botanist to be brought in by the cruise ship naturally without calling on the conch, or is this happening because i don’t have the right resources or space for the habitat?

I think the spot you choose to be the center of the oasis (a watered spot surrounded by 6 desert tiles) needs to also be situated somewhere that can provide enough food. That means the next ring out past the desert has to be high in food. Not sure atm exactly how high but I recall only being able to find two spots on my island where I could put it. I can post a screenshot of my island for you if you want. Spoilers tho, that’s why I’m asking first…
